P.M.R. 1st. December:

I.P.C. 649, Sultan Ali with 2 Forest Guards arrested 2 women on

the hillside above Quarry Bay near Mt. Parker about 5 p.m.

30th. instant for cutting grass and shrubs in a prohibited

area when passing through Quarry Bay village several

people followed them and when nearly opposite the Taikoo Club some person throw stones at the Police and Forest

Guards one stone stfuck the constable on the turban but did

not hurt him. The Constable returned at Tsat Tsz Rui Station

and telephoned to Shaukiwan. Inspector Gourlay, the European Sergeant and an I.F.C. went along and met the constable and an I.P.C. in Quarry Bay bringing the 2fmen to

station. There was no one following them and no appearance

of trouble on passing the Taikoo Club the second time. The

pieces of Constable pointed out/2/stores lying on the roadway which

he said was thrown at him.

P.M.R. 5th. December:

I.P.C. 680 Natha Singh reports that while on duty in Des Veoux

Road Central at 12.15 a.m. on 5th. instant some person

threw stones at him from the first floor of Nos. 227 and

229, Des Voeux Road Central.

Indian A.L.S. 710, Wadawa Singh reports Chinese boys threw

stones at him while in Queen's Victoria Street at 7.15 p.m.

4th. instant while he was bringing a man to Station for

hawking without a licence.
